This Christmas we're looking to raise £5,000 which, thanks to the promise of £5,000 in match funding, means every £1 donated between 2nd and 9th December becomes £2, enabling £5,000 to become £10,000. Christian residentials can bring encounters with God that change us forever. These moments are why Christian Residential Network exists. We want to expand our reach so more churches, schools, and ministries can experience the spiritual depth, community, and life-change that residentials bring.
Let us share one story: A Year 6 school group recently visited one of our member centres - most had never been to church. On the final night, a girl said to her leader, “I think I’ve met God here”. When asked what she meant, she said, “It’s like my heart feels full - and I don’t want to leave it behind.” Moments like that remind us why this work matters - God is using these spaces to reach young hearts and reveal His presence.
We see residentials as one of the most powerful contexts for children and young people to hear, see, and experience the gospel.
Your support will help us:
- Raise the profile of Christian residentials through improved resources – including our website, the VenueFinder platform, and a new promotional video.
- Build deeper connections among residential centres and holiday providers – sharing best practice, equipping emerging leaders, and offering encouragement where it’s needed most.
- Champion a united voice for the value and spiritual impact of residential ministry across the UK Church.
Stronger centres and organisations mean more people – especially young people – encountering Christ, community, and personal growth through residential experiences.
Your donation can make a tangible difference:
- £15 could fund an initial support call for a centre facing an employment or HR challenge.
- £40 could provide admin support for bursary applications, enabling children and young people to attend a camp or holiday.
- £100 could enable a regional gathering for Centre Managers to meet for training, encouragement, and support.
- £250 could help create a promotional video to inspire more people to discover the value of Christian residentials.
